Event Review: Delta HES System & Ejection Molding Technology Seminar Helps Save Energy for Industries

Delta’s Industrial Automation Business Unit (IABU) held three sessions of the Delta HES System & Ejection Molding Technology Seminar in the Taiwan cities of Tainan, Taichung and Taoyuan in September. Around a hundred manufacturers and experts joined the event to learn about the state-of-the-art ejection molding technology and the technology, application and energy-saving efficiency of Delta’s latest Hybrid Energy-Saving System (HES system).

Combining educational theory and field application, the IABU invited Dr. Wenren Chung, the Director of the Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU) Mechanical Engineering Department and R&D Center for Mold and Molding Technology, to introduce the ejection molding technology and the future development of mold design and manufacturing systems from a professional point of view. After the morning educational session the guests enjoyed a delightful lunch with the IABU’s engineering team as they discussed technical issues and shared opinions.

In the afternoon Delta’s team presented the development, applications and energy-saving results for three different types of HES solutions (80L/min, 125L/min and 200L/min) of Delta’s HES system. Mr. Andrew Lo, the IABU’s product marketing manager, revealed an analysis of the HES system’s energy consumption during the event. He affirmed, “Delta’s HES system is energy-saving, durable, highly precise and cost-effective. Months of tests prove that Delta’s HES system greatly reduces the power consumption of packing and cooling procedures during the ejection molding process. In fact, one company has saved around $30,000 in electricity costs after using Delta’s HES system for six months. In addition, the high precision of the HES greatly reduces the rejection rate, saving significant costs and raising competitiveness.” The IABU also invited the company managers to share their experiences with HES system applications. The outstanding results impressed many of the attendees, and they asked for further contact and discussed possible cooperation. The HES system has become one of the most inquired about products in the Taiwan market, which shows that Taiwanese enterprises are thinking more about energy-saving and environmental protection.

Most attendees to this successful seminar were manufacturers, technicians and engineers that were highly interested in the product displays and talking with the IABU’s product team. Delta’s IABU is dedicated to developing more energy-saving and highly efficient automation control products to improve the quality of global industry and daily life. Through the promotion of the Delta HES system, the IABU looks forward to bringing more opportunities to partners and making life more convenient for all.
