Congratulations! Delta ASDA-A2 & B2 Series AC Servo Products Both Win Awards

For the servo products of Delta’s Industrial Automation Business Unit (IABU), the year 2010 was a rewarding year. Delta Electronics has just received awards for the “Top 10 Brands of Servo and Motion Control 2010” by China’s major automation website, Chuandong, (www.chuandong.com) for the IABU’s ASDA-A2 series AC servo motors & drives. In addition, the ASDA-B2 series AC servo motors & drives were awarded “Product of the Year 2010” by ”Control Engineering China” magazine. Delta Greentech was honored to receive the two awards on behalf of Delta Electronics in December 2010.

“Top 10 Brands of Servo and Motion Control 2010” – Delta ASDA-A2 Series AC Servo Motors & Drives

Meeting the standards of “Innovation, Responsibility, Sales, and Effectiveness”, Delta’s ASDA-A2 series products have led industrial market trends, winning the honor of “Top 10 Brands of Servo and Motion Control 2010” through outstanding performance and a wide range of field applications.

Delta’s ASDA-A2 series high performance (low input power) type AC servo motors & drives meet the high standards of motion control in current industrial control markets. The ASDA-A2 was designed with precise positioning functions for equipment development, manufacturing and system integration. With various extension functions, through-the-wall installation design, high precision and high speed, built-in motion control mode and various axis control systems, the ASDA-A2 can replace the motion functions of mid-range PLCs. The E-CAM function of the ASDA-A2 allows convenient schedule arrangements to meet development trends for new servo products. The ASDA-A2’s 20-bit resolution incremental encoder and up to 1kHz frequency response for high precision and high speed application finds application for machines, machine tools, packaging, precision manufacturing and more.

The evaluation and voting for the “Top 10 Brands of Servo and Motion Control 2010” was held during the China International Industry Fair 2010. Experts, academics, and industry-leading manufacturers from China’s servo and motion control fields attended the evaluation and chose the ten winners of this award. The ASDA-A2 series products won positive comments from users, as well as from the judges, winning the title of “Top 10 Brands of Servo and Motion Control 2010” for Delta.

ASDA-B2 Series AC Servo Motor & Drive Named “Product of the Year 2010”

After three months of evaluation, Delta’s ASDA-B2 beat more than one hundred products of 70 companies to win the title “Product of the Year 2010” with its precise positioning and simple operation.

The ASDA-B2 is the latest product of the IABU and was just officially launched in May 2010. With a power range from 0.1kW to 3kW, the ASDA-B2 is a new general type of AC servo motor & drive featuring high precision, fast response and cost-effectiveness. The wiring, installation and operation of the ASDA-B2 are very user-friendly, and the various operation settings allow the ASDA-B2 to easily and rapidly connect with other machines. With built-in position/speed/torque modes, the ASDA-B2 is able to position with more precision and has better low-speed features. With auto-adjust, auto notch filters and abundant software functions (including software oscilloscope and motor capacity calculation), the ASDA-B2 can be widely applied to machine tools, docks, papermaking, warehouses, and more.

Delta’s ASDA series servo products fulfill the high function and technology demands of industrial machines and are widely appreciated by users. Winning successive awards is a great encouragement to the IABU. For the future, the IABU will continue working to provide the most advanced technologies and products with the best quality to customers. Becoming a high efficiency and high reliability green solution provider is the ultimate goal of Delta Electronics and the IABU.
