For the servo products of Delta’s Industrial Automation Business Unit (IABU), the year 2010 was a rewarding year. Delta Electronics has just received awards for the “Top 10 Brands of Servo and Motion Control 2010” by China’s major automation website, Chuandong, (
www.chuandong.com) for the IABU’s ASDA-A2 series AC servo motors & drives. In addition, the ASDA-B2 series AC servo motors & drives were awarded “Product of the Year 2010” by ”Control Engineering China” magazine. Delta Greentech was honored to receive the two awards on behalf of Delta Electronics in December 2010.

ASDA-B2 Series AC Servo Motor & Drive Named “Product of the Year 2010”
After three months of evaluation, Delta’s ASDA-B2 beat more than one hundred products of 70 companies to win the title “Product of the Year 2010” with its precise positioning and simple operation.
The ASDA-B2 is the latest product of the IABU and was just officially launched in May 2010. With a power range from 0.1kW to 3kW, the ASDA-B2 is a new general type of AC servo motor & drive featuring high precision, fast response and cost-effectiveness. The wiring, installation and operation of the ASDA-B2 are very user-friendly, and the various operation settings allow the ASDA-B2 to easily and rapidly connect with other machines. With built-in position/speed/torque modes, the ASDA-B2 is able to position with more precision and has better low-speed features. With auto-adjust, auto notch filters and abundant software functions (including software oscilloscope and motor capacity calculation), the ASDA-B2 can be widely applied to machine tools, docks, papermaking, warehouses, and more.
