About Deltas VFD-EL: An AC Motor Drive For A Variety Of Industrial Applications

VFD-EL is developed in a rapid speed with Delta's core electronic technology and was launched in July, 2007 for a variety of industrial applications (power range: 0.2kW ~ 3.7kW 115/230/460V). VFD-EL can be applied in the X-Y axis in small traveling crane, washing machine, treadmill, robot arm on the injection molding machine, drilling machine, weaving machine, building air-conditioning system and the water distribution system in the water supply system in a building. VFD-EL features:
‧ Side-by-side Installation (40 ° C): High-efficiency cooling and flexible space.
‧ Easy Maintenance : Removable cooling fan for easy maintenance.
‧ Standard MODBUS Protocol: Standard MODBUS Protocol via RS-485
‧ The built-in EMI filter reduces electromagnetic interferences and complies with EN61800-3 standard.
‧ The compact VFD-EL saves space. The DIN rail adaptor on the back panel makes it easy to be installed onto the rail.
‧ Supports multiple communication protocols, e.g. Profibus, DeviceNet, LonWorks and CANopen, etc.
‧ RFI-Switch for IT Mains: Removable ” Y” capacitor for use on IT mains supplies.
‧ Common DC bus: Multiple VFD-EL can be connected in parallel to share the regenerative braking energy. In this way, over-voltage is prevented and the DC-bus voltage stabilized.
‧ Complete Protection Function : High precision current detection, full overload protection (oL, oL1, oL2), over-voltage/over-current stall prevention, short-circuit protection, reset after fault, speed search function and motor overheat protection by PTC.
‧ Certified by UL (Underwriters Laboratories in the U.S.) and CUL (equivalent to CSA in Canada); completed CE Marking for the European market under the advise of TUV Rheinland Taiwan Ltd; complying with LVD (Low Voltage Directive) and EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) .
