Fuji Electric Co., Ltd., announces today the release of FRENIC-HVAC and FRENIC-AQUA models of inverters.
Inverters used for air-conditioning and water treatment account for about 20% of the global market for inverters. Especially in Asian countries experiencing significant growth, such as India and the ASEAN nations, power supply cannot keep up with the expansion of air-conditioning and water treatment infrastructure, so efforts to save energy through inverter control of fans and pumps are progressing rapidly.
The newly released FRENIC-HVAC models for use in air-conditioning equipment and the FRENIC-AQUA models for use in water treatment systems feature a slim design that allows the units to be mounted against a wall, like mainstream products sold in the Asian and European markets. These units have been produced as specialized equipment loaded with the standard functions required to independently operate fans and pumps in air-conditioning equipment and water supply and drainage facilities. With this product release, Fuji Electric intends to aggressively expand into the Asian and European markets in particular, while working to contribute to helping create low-carbon societies.
